Beacon of Hope on Martha's Vineyard is committed to equipping you to live well and become Christ-centered leaders in the church and community. Additionally, we want to work alongside your family in developing your children’s growth in Christ, as well as helping your family share the Gospel of Jesus with others.

As our congregation grows, we will be adding opportunities for your family to grow together spiritually. In addition, we will post more ministry information and announcements on our website.

Our services can be watched from your smartphone or computer. Join us live at 10:00 a.m. on our Facebook page Beacon Of Hope ( If you missed us live, you can find all of our sermons archived here. Please let us know that you are watching, and tell us where you are from. We also encourage you to share your prayer requests with us and offer comments during the service.

Children’s Ministry

Children ages 4 to 11 are welcome to join our children’s ministry. We believe that there is no greater investment than our children, and it is vital to help our little ones develop into healthy, young believers who have a Bible-based foundation of who Jesus Christ is.

To help children grow in their faith, we offer children’s Sunday School just after praise and worship time, which will be held in a classroom during our morning service. To keep your child energized, we will provide them with a snack during the class. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions for your child.

Small Groups

We strive to make our church members grow, learn, and serve together. For us, community and small groups are important because they provide us with an opportunity to learn and grow in God’s Word, as well as get to know each other better. To foster a tight-knit congregation, we hold small classes and groups all year round.

Small Group Options:

Pastoral Care

Our pastoral care includes hospital visitations, pastoral counseling and Bible study groups.

Children and Families

Worship is one of the most important aspects of the church that we want our children to experience. The presence of children during worship is encouraged at our congregation. Children are more than welcome to attend any or all parts of our worship services and events.

In addition to our regular service, we offer service for children ages 4-11. The children’s service is held just after the worship part of our Sunday service.

We do not currently provide nursery care for infants and toddlers but feel free to ask our church members for assistance. We want to support everyone who wants to worship at our church. Our supportive members are here to make our service enjoyable for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and guardians of younger children.
